Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 medium onions
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. marjoram
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 medium pepper, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. water

Method

  • In a large frypan, flour beef with 1/2 cup flour; add onions and oil and brown.
  • Stir in paprika, marjoram, pepper, green pepper, garlic, tomatoes and 1 cup of water.
  • Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer.
  • Cook approximately 90 minutes or until meat is tender.
