- 1 large can crushed tomatoes
- 1 lb. Italian sausage, sliced
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 7 c. beef stock
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 2 c. sliced zucchini
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 2 c. cooked pasta
- grated Italian cheese
Method
- Brown sausages.
- Add tomatoes and tomato sauce.
- Simmer 10 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients (except pasta).
- Cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and serve.
- Grated cheese may be added individually.
- Makes approximately 10 servings.
