Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage, sliced
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 7 c. beef stock
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 c. sliced zucchini
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 2 c. cooked pasta
  • grated Italian cheese

Method

  • Brown sausages.
  • Add tomatoes and tomato sauce.
  • Simmer 10 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients (except pasta).
  • Cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
  • Add cooked pasta and serve.
  • Grated cheese may be added individually.
  • Makes approximately 10 servings.
