Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Water
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 3/4 Cup Flour or 1 Cup Cake Flour
  • 1 Tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp. Salt
  • About 2/3 Cup Jelly, Jam or Lemon Filling
  • Powdered Sugar

Method

  • Line 15x10x1 inch jelly roll pan with aluminum foil or waxed paper; grease generously.
  • Beat eggs in small bowl on high speed until very thick and lemon colored, about 5 minutes.
  • Pour eggs into large bowl.
  • Gradually beat in sugar.
  • Beat in water and vanilla on low speed.
  • Gradually add flour, baking powder and salt, beating just until batter is smooth.
  • Pour into pan.
