Ingredients
- 1 large or 2 medium onions
- 1/2 pt. plain yogurt
- 1 bottle concentrated lemon juice
- 1 tube saffron
- chicken pieces
Method
- Grate the onions, keeping the juice.
- Mix the onions with the lemon juice and the yogurt in a shallow pan.
- Mixture should be deep enough to half cover chicken pieces.
- Marinate chicken for several hours or in the refrigerator overnight.
- Chicken should be turned over halfway through the marinating period.
