Ingredients
- 1/2 bushel tomatoes
- 1 pt. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. mustard spice
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
Method
- Core, cook and grind tomatoes in a food mill.
- Put in refrigerator overnight.
- Spoon off water.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cook 10 minutes or until thick.
- Makes 6 to 10 pints.
