Ingredients
- 8 slices bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- butter for frying
Method
- Beat together milk and eggs.
- Add salt and vanilla.
- Dip bread into mixture until soaked.
- Fry in butter on both sides until golden brown.
- Serve with maple syrup or jam.
