- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 diced onion
- 1 Tbsp. garlic
- 12 oz. tomato paste
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. noodles
- 2 eggs
- 12 oz. cottage cheese
- 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- Brown meat; drain fat.
- Add garlic, onion, salt, pepper, tomato paste and water.
- Simmer for 45 to 60 minutes.
- Cook noodles as directed.
- Mix eggs in cottage cheese.
- Spread part of sauce in dish, then layer of noodles, sauce, cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese, then repeat.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
