Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef (or deer)
  • Italian seasoning
  • sugar, to taste
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • 1 pkg. Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese blend
  • 8 oz. cottage cheese (small curd)
  • 1 pkg. Swiss cheese
  • 1 box lasagna noodles
  • Parmesan cheese (to sprinkle on top)

Method

  • Brown ground meat and drain; add Italian seasoning. Add tomato sauce plus 3/4 can of water, tomato paste and sugar. Simmer on low. Boil noodles until done; drain and separate. Layer mixture of sauce, noodles, and cheese. Sprinkle more Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor. Bake at 375° 30 to 40 minutes.
