Ingredients

  • 1 head of lettuce, washed and torn
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
  • 1 can English peas, drained
  • 1 cup mayonnaise cup ranch dressing
  • 6 oz. grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 hard cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 8 slices of bacon, fried, and crumbled

Method

  • Layer ingredients as listed, except bacon, into a 4 quart bowl. Cover and refrigerator overnight.
  • Just before serving, top of with bacon and toss.
