Ingredients

  • 1-2 salmon filets (or enough for 2 people)
  • 1/4 cup of capers in either vinegar or wine
  • 2 whole lemons
  • dash of oregeno
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp of oil (or margerine)
  • 1 tsp fresh basil, chopped

Method

  • Put salmon filets ina shallow dish with foil uderneath. Mix together, lemon juice from one lemon, oil, oregeno, basil and capers. Pour 1/2 mixture over the salmon. Let it stand for about 10 minutes. Mix in basil with the rest of the ingredients and pour the rest over the salmon.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes depending on size of salmon steaks. Serve with rice pilaf and salad.
