Ingredients
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/4 c. "grade B" Vermont maple syrup
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. shelled walnuts
- unbaked pie shell
Method
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, maple syrup and butter. Beat in eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Pour mixture into prepared unbaked pie shell.
- Place walnuts evenly on top, covering entire surface.
- Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until done.
- Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
