Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 2 cans water
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3 lb. chopped meat or turkey, formed into balls
- 32 oz. sauerkraut
Method
- Saute onion; add tomato sauce, water and sugar and stir.
- Let it come to a boil.
- Add meatballs and cook 1/2 to 3/4 hour. Remove meatballs and add sauerkraut.
- Stir together; put meatballs back in pot and cook together another 1/2 to 3/4 hour.
- Tastes like stuffed cabbage!
- Freezes well.
