Ingredients
- 2 qt. boiling water
- 1 can chopped clams
- 1 pkg. dashi-no-moto
- handful of ebi (dried shrimp, optional)
- 3 to 4 heaping Tbsp. white miso
- green onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/4 block tofu, diced
Method
- To
- pot
- of boiling water, add clams, dashi-no-moto and ebi. After
- it
- comes
- to a boil, lower heat.
- Add miso; stir with spoon until miso is dissolved.
- Beat egg in a bowl, then stir into soup.
- Add tofu and onion. While preparing soup, do not cover pot or leave it unattended.
- After soup is done, you may cover pot and simmer over low heat.
