Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. mint flavored chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. chocolate chips

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Grease a 9-inch square pan.
  • In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar, oleo and water.
  • Bring to just a boil; remove from heat.
  • Add 1 cup chocolate chips and vanilla, stirring until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth.
  • Transfer to a larger bowl.
  • Add eggs, beating well after each.
  • Stir in flour mixture and remaining chocolate chips.
  • Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, just until center is set.
  • Cool; cut into 2 1/4-inch squares.
