Ingredients
- 1/2 c. light molasses
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 qt. popped corn
Method
- Combine molasses, corn syrup & vinegar in sauce pan.
- Cook stirring occasionally to 240 degrees.
- Then continue cooking, stirring constantly to 270 degrees.
- When done, add butter and stir only enough to mix.
- Sprinkle the salt over the corn in a large bowl.
- Then slowly pour the syrup over it, mixing well. Quickly shape into balls using as little pressure as possible.
