Ingredients

  • 4 oz. dry mustard
  • 1 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 dash salt

Method

  • Mix mustard and vinegar until smooth and then let stand overnight.
  • Mix egg, sugar and salt.
  • Blend with mustard mixture. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture starts to thicken (about 20 minutes).
  • The longer you cook it the thicker it becomes.
  • Cool completely after mixture has reached desired thickness, then blend with mayonnaise.
