Ingredients
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 5 Tbsp. cold water
Method
- Sift flour, blend in shortening until crumbs are the size of peas.
- Beat egg; add vinegar, salt and water.
- Mix with fork until mixture leaves the sides of bowl and forms a ball.
- Roll out on floured surface.
- Makes pastry for one 2-crust pie.
