Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  • In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
  • Beat until creamy.
  • Beat in egg. Blend in flour mixtures.
  • Stir in oats and nuts.
  • Spread into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  • Place in 375° oven for 3 minutes.
  • Run knife through to marbleize.
