- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
- 1 egg
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
- In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
- Beat until creamy.
- Beat in egg. Blend in flour mixtures.
- Stir in oats and nuts.
- Spread into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- Place in 375° oven for 3 minutes.
- Run knife through to marbleize.
