Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c. water
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. elbow pasta or spiral pasta
  • 1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans
  • 1 1/2 c. fresh beans
  • 1 c. process American cheese
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley
  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
  • 1 (4 oz.) jar pimento
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 (7 oz.) can tuna, drained and chunked

Method

  • Bring water, bouillon cubes, pepper and basil leaves to a boil in a 4-quart pot.
  • Gradually add uncooked pasta so that water continues to boil.
  • Cover and simmer for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
