Ingredients
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- garlic powder (if desired)
- salt and pepper
Method
- Rinse potatoes and dry.
- Brush 1 tablespoon margarine on bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of cheese.
- Toss potatoes with remaining margarine.
- Layer 1/3 potatoes on bottom of pie plate; sprinkle with 1/3 of cheese; salt, pepper and garlic powder as desired.
- Repeat with 2 more layers.
- Bake at 400° for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender and lightly browned.
