Ingredients

  • 1 egg for each 2 to 3 slices of bread
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. of milk
  • ground cinnamon to taste
  • butter as you like it
  • syrup or fruit for topping

Method

  • Heat griddle.
  • Combine eggs, milk and cinnamon in a deep dish and beat until smooth.
  • After griddle is heated, open and put a little butter (or margarine) and spread around on griddle.
  • Dip bread slices into batter and put on griddle.
  • Cook a couple of minutes
  • on each side of bread until golden brown.
  • Take off griddle and add butter or margarine and syrup or fruit to your liking.
