Ingredients
- 1 c. pecans
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. light corn syrup
Method
- Beat eggs.
- Add sugar and syrup, then salt and vanilla.
- Place the pecans in
- the bottom of unbaked pie crust.
- Add the filling. Bake slowly in a moderate oven (350°) for 50 to 60 minutes.
- The nuts will rise to the top of the pie filling and form a crusted layer.
