Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, trim fat and cut into cubes
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 c. water
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 2 medium green peppers, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 to 3 tsp. sugar (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
Method
- Brown meat in hot oil in skillet.
- Stir in water, onion, garlic salt and ginger.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat to simmer. Cover and simmer 12 to 15 minutes.
- Add green pepper slices during last 5 minutes.
