Ingredients
- 4 qt. tomatoes
- 1 large onion (or several small ones)
- 3 large green peppers
- 1 small hot pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 2 tsp. salt
Method
- Wash, scald, skin, core and chop tomatoes.
- Clean peppers (remove seeds) and onion.
- Chop fine.
- Add rest of ingredients and cook until sauce is as thick as you want it.
- Pour into hot jars. Process pints 30 minutes and quarts 45 minutes.
