Ingredients
- 1-2 pork chop or possibly pork steak per person
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 tbsp. caraway seed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 pound sauerkraut
Method
- Brown pork chops or possibly pork steak in large skillet.
- Cover with water and simmer 15 min.
- Add in onion, caraway seed, salt and pepper.
- Simmer 60 min.
- Remove meat from skillet.
- Make a gravy.
- Drain sauerkraut and add in to gravy.
- Bring to boil.
- To serve: Spoon sauerkraut gravy over dumplings.
