Ingredients
- 2 oz. butter
- 1 oz. vermicelli
- 12 oz. basmati rice, washed
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1-3/4 pint water
- stock
Method
- Melt the butter.
- Add the vermicelli and brown well.
- Add the rice and mix in very well.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add lemon juice and stock.
- Mix again.
- Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked.
