Ingredients

  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2/3 c. soft shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 sq. cooking chocolate
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 24 marshmallows, cut in pieces
  • 6 to 8 Tbsp. Marshmallow Fluff
  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits

Method

  • Sift flour, sugar and salt.
  • Add shortening and eggs and beat until fluffy.
  • Add vanilla and melted cooking chocolate.
  • Blend well; gently stir in nuts.
  • Turn into lightly greased pan and bake about 25 minutes at 350°.
  • Remove from oven and immediately cover with chocolate bits and marshmallows.
  • Allow to stand several minutes until soft and gently spread over entire mix with the back of a fork.
  • Cool before cutting.
