Ingredients

  • 2 c. uncooked shell macaroni
  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 1/4 c. oil or butter
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 lb. scallops
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. sherry or white wine

Method

  • Cook macaroni; drain.
  • Cook shrimp; peel.
  • Heat oil or butter. Stir in cornstarch, salt, pepper and milk.
  • Let bubble about 2 minutes.
  • Stir in macaroni, shrimp, scallops, 1 1/2 cups cheese and wine.
  • Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  • Serves 8.
