Ingredients
- 2 c. uncooked shell macaroni
- 1 lb. shrimp
- 1/4 c. oil or butter
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 1/4 c. milk
- 1 1/2 lb. scallops
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. sherry or white wine
Method
- Cook macaroni; drain.
- Cook shrimp; peel.
- Heat oil or butter. Stir in cornstarch, salt, pepper and milk.
- Let bubble about 2 minutes.
- Stir in macaroni, shrimp, scallops, 1 1/2 cups cheese and wine.
- Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Serves 8.
