Ingredients
- 1/2 cube butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 cup flour (enough for thin paste)
- 1/4 tsp. onion salt
- 3 cups water
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 6 pieces of uncooked chicken
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/4 cup white wine, optional
Method
- Melt butter.
- Fry butter and flour in sauce pan on medium heat till dark brown.
- Immediately add water and stir till smooth. Add remaining ingredients.
- Cook on low heat until chicken is tender. You can either cook dumplings in the fricassee gravy or serve over cooked rice.
