- 1/2 bushel tomatoes, cook and run through colander
- 8 medium onions
- 4 peppers
- 4 (12 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 4 Tbsp. oregano
- 4 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 4 Tbsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 4 basil leaves
- 4 bay leaves
Method
- Heat to a slow boil; cook 30 minutes.
- Put in cans.
- Put cans in hot water bath for 20 minutes.
