Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) can unsweetened peach halves
- 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- dash of nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. orange extract
- brown sugar substitute (to equal 2 Tbsp. brown sugar)
Method
- Drain peaches; reserve juice. Combine cornstarch, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg in saucepan. Stir in peach juice and blend well. Add peaches and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat.
- Simmer 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add orange extract and brown sugar substitute.
- Mix well and serve hot.
