Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can unsweetened peach halves
  • 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. cloves
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. orange extract
  • brown sugar substitute (to equal 2 Tbsp. brown sugar)

Method

  • Drain peaches; reserve juice. Combine cornstarch, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg in saucepan. Stir in peach juice and blend well. Add peaches and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat.
  • Simmer 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add orange extract and brown sugar substitute.
  • Mix well and serve hot.
