Ingredients
- 1 gal. sliced squash
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 2 c. sliced onions
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
- 2 hot peppers, chopped
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 qt. vinegar
Method
- Lay squash out and sprinkle with salt.
- Cover with cold water and set overnight.
- Drain and combine remaining ingredients.
- Boil 3 to 4 minutes.
- Put in jars and seal.
