Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli
- 2 Tbsp. peanut oil or salad oil
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seed
- red pepper slices
Method
- Rinse broccoli.
- Peel tough outer stalks, pulling up from ends of stalks.
- Slice diagonally into bite-size pieces.
- Steam about 5 minutes or until barely tender.
- Heat the oil and soy sauce.
- Toss in broccoli.
- Heat 1 to 2 minutes longer.
- Place in serving dish. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seed and red pepper slices and serve. Makes 4 servings.
