Ingredients

  • 6 thick-cut pork chops
  • 4 c. soft bread, cubed
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Method

  • Mix bread cubes, margarine, onion and seasonings.
  • Cut pockets in pork chops.
  • Stuff with dressing.
  • Wrap cord string around chops to hold dressing.
  • Arrange in roasting pan, leaving cover off and brown in hot oven.
  • Mix water, catsup and Worcestershire sauce; pour over chops.
  • Cover and bake at 375° for about 1 hour or until tender.
