- 1 large head iceberg lettuce, broken into small pieces
- 1 c. slightly cooked green beans
- 1 medium grated carrot
- 1 red onion, sliced thin
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. pineapple tidbits
- 3/4 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Method
- Layer lettuce, beans, carrots, pineapple and onion in a flat dish or pan.
- Spread mayonnaise over the top and sprinkle with sugar.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
- Just before serving, sprinkle with bacon on top and toss.
- (Bacon bits may be used.)
