Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. pork
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 sliced green pepper
- 1/4 c. sliced onion
- 2 1/2 c. pineapple chunks
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Method
- Brown meat; add water.
- Cover and simmer 1 hour.
- Do not boil. Combine green pepper, onions and pineapple chunks, reserving syrup. Set aside.
- Combine brown sugar and cornstarch.
- Add pineapple syrup.
- Mix well and add remaining ingredients.
- Add all other ingredients to meat.
- Cook until thickened.
- Add pineapple, onion and pepper.
