Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef browned and drained
  • 1 jar Bertolli Tomato and Basil marinara sauce
  • 1/2 C red wine
  • 1-2 Tb Garlic, ground to your preferred taste (we like Garlic)
  • 2 C Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese, divided
  • 2 Tb cornstarch
  • 1/4 C water

Method

  • On med/hi heat, brown and drain ground beef add the garlic, Bertolli sauce,wine and 1 cup cheese, stir to blend,
  • simmer 15 minutes
  • Stirring occasionally
  • add cornstarch and water in small cup then add to beef mixture making sure no lumps are present
  • reduce heat to low
  • simmer an additional 10 minutes or until thick
  • Sprinkle remaing cheese on the top and serve with Kings Hawaiian Bread. Wait for smiles.
