Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Polish sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp. sliced onions
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Method

  • Brown
  • sausage in
  • skillet.
  • Remove
  • and discard drippings. Combine
  • ground beef and onions in skillet. Cook until meat
  • is browned,
  • stirring to
  • crumble. Drain. Combine beef mixture, sausage and remaining ingredients. Pour into lightly greased 2-quart
  • casserole.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes. Makes a large dish. Good for covered dish meals.
