Ingredients
- 1 to 2 slices Bread
- 4 to 6 teaspoons Pesto genovese
- 1 dash Grated Parmesan or Pecorino cheese
- 1 dash Black pepper to sprinkle just before eating
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Spread 2 to 3 teaspoons of the pesto on each slice of bread, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake until the cheese has browned.
- Sprinkle with black pepper at the table before eating.
- Great for meals or snacks or as an aperitif with white wine.
