- 4 to 6 chicken breasts, boil about 25 minutes, remove skins and discard
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can chili con carne without beans (Hormel)
- 1 (7 1/2 or 8 oz.) can Ortega chili salsa
- 1/2 c. chicken soup stock
- 1 doz. tortillas (flour), break in 1 inch squares
- 1/4 lb. each Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese, grated
Method
- Mix all ingredients together, except cheese.
- Cover with cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes uncovered.
- Cover and bake another 1/2 hour in foil in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
