Ingredients

  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Bull's-Eye Bold Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
  • 4 hamburger buns

Method

  • Heat barbecue to medium heat.
  • Combine tomatoes and basil; set aside.
  • Mix turkey, bread crumbs, garlic and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce just until blended; shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  • Grill patties 7 to 8 min.
  • on each side or until done (165F), adding buns, cut sides down, to barbecue for the last minute to toast to desired doneness.
  • Spread bottom halves of buns with remaining barbecue sauce.
  • Cover with burgers, tomato mixture and tops of buns.
