Ingredients

  • 2 (10 1/2 ounce) packages soft silken tofu
  • 16 ounces vanilla-flavored soymilk or 16 ounces rice milk
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 14 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 14 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 12-1 cup rum (optional) or 12-1 cup brandy (optional)
  • nutmeg (to garnish)

Method

  • In blender or food processor, combine all ingredients except nutmeg; blend thoroughly, stopping occasionally to scrape down sides of bowl.
  • Serve well-chilled and dusted with nutmeg.
