Ingredients

  • 3 oranges, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle Chardonnay wine or 1 (750 ml) bottle riesling wine or 1 (750 ml) bottle pinot grigio wine or 1 (750 ml) bottle sauvignon blanc wine
  • 2 ounces triple sec
  • 12 liter ginger ale

Method

  • Place orange, lemon and lime slice in a large pitcher.
  • Add the wine and triple sec.
  • With a large wooden spoon, stir the contents of the pitcher until mixed.
  • gently press the slices of fruit toward the bottom of the pitcher to release the fruit juices into the wine.
  • Refrigerate overnight (or for a minimum of 4 hours)
  • Just before serving add the ginger aleand stir again to mix.
  • Pour into glasses to serve.
  • Serve over ice, if desired.
