Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 stalk celery
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 3 Tbsp. flour, salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 c. cooked wild rice
- 1 c. water
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 c. half and half
- 1/3 c. almonds
Method
- Cook celery, onion, bell pepper and carrot in butter.
- Stir in flour and pepper.
- Stir in rice, water and broth.
- Heat to boiling point.
- Stir in half and half; almonds for garnish.
- Do not boil this soup.
