Ingredients
- 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped pepper
- 1 can green peas, drained
- 1 c. salad dressing
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 strips bacon, fried crisp and drained
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Method
- Fill large bowl 1/2 full of lettuce.
- Add in order the layers of celery, onion, pepper and peas.
- Spread salad dressing over peas and sprinkle on sugar.
- Crumble bacon over top, then sprinkle cheese on.
- Cover, refrigerate several hours.
- Toss when about ready to serve.
- Can put cheese on after tossed.
