Ingredients

  • 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped pepper
  • 1 can green peas, drained
  • 1 c. salad dressing
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 8 strips bacon, fried crisp and drained
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Method

  • Fill large bowl 1/2 full of lettuce.
  • Add in order the layers of celery, onion, pepper and peas.
  • Spread salad dressing over peas and sprinkle on sugar.
  • Crumble bacon over top, then sprinkle cheese on.
  • Cover, refrigerate several hours.
  • Toss when about ready to serve.
  • Can put cheese on after tossed.
