Ingredients
- 2 (10. 5 oz.) cans asparagus (whole or cut in spears)
- 2 c. grated cheese
- 2 c. cracker crumbs
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- sliced or slivered almonds
Method
- Drain liquid from asparagus into a saucepan; add 1/2 stick butter.
- Heat.
- Make a paste of milk and cornstarch.
- Add to hot liquid.
