Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground round
- 1 c. diced red onions
- 1 c. Karo dark syrup
- 3 to 4 oz. A.1. sauce
- 3 Tbsp. Hellmann's Dijonnaise mustard
Method
- Fry burgers on medium heat 6 to 8 minutes (semi-done); pour off grease except for small amount and remove burgers.
- Cook onions for 2 to 3 minutes in grease; add Karo, A.1. sauce and Hellmann's Dijonnaise mustard and mix until liquid.
- Put burgers back in and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Put burgers on buns and top with remaining juices for open-face sandwiches or top with favorite burger fixings and sauce.
- Enjoy.
