Ingredients
- 1 x baguette sliced lengthwise
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil, 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 10 ounce sliced camembert
- 1 c. shredded basil
- 3 tsp white wine
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3 tsp chives
- 1 1/2 c. shredded sorrel leaves or possibly other herb
Method
- Sprinkle cut surfaces of baguette with oil and wine.
- Spread half of herbs and garlic on bottom half, and cheese in slices on top.
- Spread remaining herbs and garlic on camembert.
- Put halves together, wrap in plastic, then in foil.
- Chill with a weight on top 4-5 hrs or possibly overnight.
