Ingredients

  • 1 x baguette sliced lengthwise
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil, 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 10 ounce sliced camembert
  • 1 c. shredded basil
  • 3 tsp white wine
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 tsp chives
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded sorrel leaves or possibly other herb

Method

  • Sprinkle cut surfaces of baguette with oil and wine.
  • Spread half of herbs and garlic on bottom half, and cheese in slices on top.
  • Spread remaining herbs and garlic on camembert.
  • Put halves together, wrap in plastic, then in foil.
  • Chill with a weight on top 4-5 hrs or possibly overnight.
