Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boned and cut into 1-inch squares
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 sweet peppers (1 green and 1 red), cut into squares
  • 3 celery, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 3/4 c. cold water
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar

Method

  • In bowl combine chicken with soup mix, 1 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, garlic and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Marinate for 20 minutes.
  • In skillet heat remaining oil and cook peppers and celery over high heat, stirring frequently for 3 minutes.
  • Add green onions and cook 2 minutes.
  • Remove from pan. Add chicken to skillet and cook 3 minutes.
  • In separate bowl mix remaining soy sauce and cornstarch with water and sugar.
  • Add to chicken in skillet with vegetable.
  • Simmer for 3 minutes.
