Ingredients

  • 6 or 7 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 or 2 (8 oz.) cans mushrooms
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 8 to 10 oz. very thin pasta, broken into small pieces
  • garlic to taste
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 onion

Method

  • Cook pasta and drain well.
  • Cut chicken in bite size pieces and saute in butter.
  • Remove and add onion and garlic.
  • Combine chicken, pasta, mushrooms, onion, soup and sour cream.
  • Turn into large casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake in 300° oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove foil and continue to bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  • Serves 8 to 10.
