- 6 or 7 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 or 2 (8 oz.) cans mushrooms
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. sour cream
- 8 to 10 oz. very thin pasta, broken into small pieces
- garlic to taste
- grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 onion
Method
- Cook pasta and drain well.
- Cut chicken in bite size pieces and saute in butter.
- Remove and add onion and garlic.
- Combine chicken, pasta, mushrooms, onion, soup and sour cream.
- Turn into large casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake in 300° oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and continue to bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Serves 8 to 10.
